Czarna koszulka, skromna w formie, ale naznaczona typografią przypominającą neonowy blask arcade, funkcjonuje niczym przepustka do świata, w którym haute couture przechodzi digitalizację, zamieniając się w koncept, a nie jedynie w przedmiot. Nie ma już perłowej dystynkcji ani tweedowej powagi – jest za to skrupulatnie zaplanowana lekkość, przefiltrowana przez sączek popkulturowego savoir-faire. Chanel nie tyle flirtuje z przystępnością, co przejmuje jej język, redefiniując luksus nie poprzez jego namacalność, lecz przez zdolność do infiltracji sfer pozornie nieprzystających do jego tradycyjnej narracji. Koszulka staje się dowodem na to, że ekskluzywność nie zawsze musi być definiowana przez cenę, czasem wystarczy mechanizm pożądania – ten sam, który sprawia, że w automatach wrzuca się kolejną monetę, by móc grać dalej.
