Matowa czerń, syntetyczna lekkość, forma podporządkowana ruchowi – Prada .018 nylon sling backpack jest obiektem, który istnieje na pograniczu funkcjonalności i wyrafinowanej redukcji. Wprowadzony do świata luksusu przez Miuccię Pradę, nylon stał się cichym adwokatem nowoczesnej elegancji, pozbawionej ozdobników, ale pełnej znaczeń. Jego industrialny rodowód, związany z produkcją technicznych tkanin dla wojska i przemysłu, uległ przewrotnej reinterpretacji – od końca lat 80. materiał ten nie sygnował już wyłącznie trwałości i odporności, lecz nową estetykę: inteligentną, surową, wymykającą się efemerycznym tendencjom. Asymetryczna konstrukcja torby nie jest przypadkiem, lecz świadomym zabiegiem, który zmienia sposób jej noszenia i odbioru. Pojedynczy pasek przecina sylwetkę, nadaje jej dynamikę, dopasowuje się do rytmu miejskiego ruchu. To projekt, który nie dąży do spektakularności, lecz do perfekcyjnego wyważenia formy i funkcji. Nie dominuje nad noszącym, nie definiuje jego stylu, a jednak staje się jego integralnym elementem – obecnym, lecz nienachalnym, pozbawionym daty ważności.
